GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT
I am a PhD candidate in Geophysics at the University of Texas at Austin’s Jackson School of Geosciences. My research focuses on tectonics, paleogeodesy, paleoclimate, and biogeology. I use corals as natural instruments for reconstructing past earthquakes. My dissertation investigates how the New Georgia Island Group megathrust in the Solomon Islands deforms between and during earthquakes, using stable isotopes measured along coral cores together with satellite radar geodesy (InSAR).
