POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW
Bhargav Boddupalli is a geophysicist who studies plate margins using seismic imaging techniques. He is also interested in rock physics modeling, deep learning algorithms and ambient noise analysis. At UTIG, he is working on developing high-resolution seismic images and velocity models of the Cascadia subduction zone to understand the structure and tectonics in the region. Bhargav finished his PhD from the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton, UK, studying the final stages of rifting in the Deep Galicia margin using wide-angle seismic data.
