Doug Foster

Portrait of Doug Foster

SENIOR RESEARCH SCIENTIST
Doug’s research interests include wave propagation, inverse problems, and applied geophysics. Current projects include the study of seismic wave propagation in heterogeneous poro-elastic media, scattering of waves in finely layered media, building 3-D anisotropic velocity models incorporating stress induced effects, and analysis of reflection seismograms as a function of time, frequency, and offset.

INTERESTS
seismic wave propagation, inverse problems and applied geophysics
