PROFESSOR
Luc’s objective is to develop predictive models on the state of stress at plate boundaries to understand deformation processes from micro to macroscopic scales over a wide range of time. As a result, his research has focused on the numerical parameterization and quantification of the ways Earth materials flow. To study and simulate geological processes, Luc developed numerical techniques to test parameterizations of Earth materials’ rheology derived from laboratory experiments and field observations.
INTERESTS
