Postdoctoral Fellow
Duyi Li is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas Institute for Geophysics. During her Ph.D. at the University of Missouri, she investigated the propagation and attenuation of regional seismic waves in the Middle East. She also developed the attenuation model of the lithosphere beneath the Caucasus region.
At UTIG, Duyi Li is applying her knowledge in seismology to constrain the boundary conditions of the Antarctic Ice Sheet. She is leveraging her knowledge in wave propagation to analyze the multi-polarized airborne ice penetrating radar data to study the englacial fabric structures. Additionally, she is working to contribute to the Open Polar Radar project.
