RESEARCH AFFILIATE / RESEARCH FELLOW
Steve’s research is focused on understanding marine sediment deposition and early diagenesis on continental margins. Much of his research uses interdisciplinary approaches involving sedimentology, geochemistry, and physical properties in ocean drilling records, as well as laboratory experiments, to better understand gas hydrate systems, monsoons, and the deep biosphere.
