Terrence Quinn

DIRECTOR / PROFESSOR
Terrence Quinn
Terrence’s research group focuses on understanding tropical, to subtropical climate variability on timescales ranging from years to millennia. He develops time series of geochemical variations in climate proxies (corals, foraminifera, stalagmites, marine sediments) to investigate the changing nature of climate variability over time. His group uses these proxy records in combination with climate model results to get at the underlying mechanisms of climate change.

INTERESTS
climate change, paleoclimate, geochemistry
