Baiyuan Gao

Graduated 2018

Gao_300Baiyuan applied geomechanical models to study thin-skinned fold-and- thrust belt systems. Her research furthers our understanding of stress, strain, compaction, and pore pressure behaviors in fold-and- thrust belt systems. Baiyuan also aims to come up with an improved approach to predict pore pressure in compressional regions.

INTERESTS
Geomechanics, basin modeling, pore pressure prediction
