GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Marie’s research focused on understanding the variability of glacial-interglacial cycles in the East Antarctic Ice Sheet. In particular, understanding the role of ice stream dynamics on the long term stability of the East Antarctic Plateau. She used airborne ice-penetrating radar data to trace layers over hundreds of kilometers, which are then used as input for modeling experiments.
