GRADUATED 2021
Jacob’s research involved tracking the geomorphology and behavior of barrier islands in response to rising sea levels. He studied ancient, now-extinct offshore barrier island systems to understand the mechanisms controlling the stabilization or migration of the paleoshoreline. This included applying seismic stratigraphic methods and lithofacies analyses through the integration of geologic (piston cores, gravity cores) and geophysical (2D CHIRP, 3D seismic) datasets.
INTERESTS
