Tianyi is interested in the role of ocean-atmosphere interaction in modulating the climate variability. Her recent research focused on atmospheric response to stochastic forced Sea Surface Temperature Anomalies (SSTA) in the North Pacific basin and its influence on the large scale climate variability.
