Allison’s research investigated past climate variability and change using paleoclimate archives and climate models. Her latest project used the Sr/Ca ratio and oxygen isotopic composition of fossil corals to generate high-resolution paleoclimate records of El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO) variability in the tropical South Pacific.
