GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Andrew is investigating crustal structure and tectonics at convergent margins with controlled source seismic imaging and tomography. His research focuses on two problems in New Zealand: (1) how do fault zone structure and properties control slip behavior at the Hikurangi margin?, and (2) are there relationships between crustal structure, extension, and volcanism in the Bay of Plenty intra-arc rift? Andrew studied environmental geophysics and volcanic sedimentology for his master’s degree at Boise State University.
