The Pop-Up Institute will meet on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for 6 weeks in June and July 2018.
Three days of talks, discussion and social events are planned for each week. Each day will start with breakfast at 9 am, followed at 9:30 am with one of three keynote speakers who are experts in different areas related to the origin of life. Following each keynote address will be a discussion, lunch, and then additional talks and discussion led by participants from UT Austin and other institutions. There will be panels, discussions, and unstructured break-out groups. We will allow plenty of time for informal interactions and social events.
Locations:
Weeks 1 and 2 events will be held in ROC 1.603 on J.J. Pickle Research Campus. UTIG is easily accessible from the UT main campus using the Capital Metro 803 bus.
Weeks 3 and 4 will be held in EER 0.904 on UT Austin’s Main Campus.
Weeks 5 and 6 will be held in RLM 15.216B on UT Austin’s Main Campus.
